If I was looking for a deer lease, and my budget is between $1000-$2000 for a year round place, within 2 1/2 hours of Dallas/fort worth area, where would i want to go to see quantity of deer and quality of deer?

im currently in comanche county(DeLeon), the deer are there but nothing of size, and lots of does. It's not a matter of choosing which buck to shoot, it's a matter if you even see a mature buck. I can not complain when we are only paying $250 for a year round place but I want options. thanks for any info

I'm in Hamilton, but just got on the lease. We're just west of town on a year rounder, and we've seen no hogs at all on 2200 acres. Now maybe they're there, but I've seen no tracks at the stock tanks and no wallerin holes and none on the game cameras.
So far the deer look decent, if not a little young. Season is young though.. Good luck

I was on a lease in Palo Pinto and Erath counties a few years back. We had some decent deer. We were about 20 miles noth of Stephenville. About 60 miles west of Ft Worth on I-20. Good Luck!
