Your thoughts please, Cabelas has 0 reviews on them. Cabelas has the 1600 gram for $159, regular $249. Hopefully they are good since my wife ordered me a pair yesterday when I was out of town.

Columbia = Good stuff, regardless of what it is. That's a steal.

Gf had a brand new pair that leaked right of the bat. Columbia and the company (C.O. Lynch) that they source them out to both gave us the run around about the warranty. The store finally took them back when we let them know what was happening and I sold another pair that I had before ever wearing them once.

The last thing I want is to be wet.....and cold.

Hopefully you won't have any problems. But don't put alot of weight into their customer service/warranty.

They aren't made by columbia... the are marketed with the name. I haven't used them so I can't say good or bad..... when it comes to waders they all will leak....I had two pairs of simms that leaked after no more then 4 uses.

Cabela's should take care of you regardless. Or is their return policy any different for Columbia waders?

Now that is some good intel that will change a decision one way or another.

First pair of waders I bought was Columbia 3mm at Academy. The right knee developed a leak after 4 seasons, easily repairable, but I got the boot size a half size small. This made putting them on a pain in the arse.
If Academy still carried the ones I bought, I would have gotten a new pair but with the correct shoe size.
I ended up with the Cabela's Supermag 5mm.
Just keep your receipt and if you're not satisfied, bring them back.

Well, I'm going to give em a go. My wife was kind enough to buy them for me without my even asking (I think she was concerned last year when I came back blue after being in the water for 2 hours at 38 degrees) and I really don't have the heart to tell her I want to send them back.
Should have them next week. I will report back when I receive them.

I had a pair and in no time the entire seams in the legs leaked. I took them back to Cabelas and got the super mags
