Is anyone on here using the Moultrie Game Management System? This is the modem that connects to your moultrie game cam that uploads pictures online. What do you think about it?

I think it is very expensive if you get lots of pics. Would be nice if it were cost effective and could delete doe pics before it sent them.

How often to you replace the batteries or do you use a solar panel? Is it fairly reliable?

I do use them..sorry about that...I checked into them but where I am located at signal strength is bad on any of the units like it that are sold. If I were going to use it I would have an external battery on a solar panel. Honestly I have never spoken to anybody who uses it most say it is way to expensive. Most have a monthly fee plus cost per pic fee. So it adds up really quick.

I was tempted too, my signal would be the only thing in question. I guess you have to sign up for an AT&T contract. Price is depending on how many pics you want to upload per month, not per pic I believe. More $ = More pics. Maybe a two year contract too, not sure about that. It has what a lot of us want but the price and dependability have us a little weary. You first, then tell us what you think, lol

I have had one for a year now, it works good, price per month depends on number of pics & resolution of pics you want. Several diff plans I think now they offer a prepaid plan so you dont have to have contract. As far as the cameras go you will need a solar panel if you plan on a lot of pics. They work good.

Good info. Can you recommend a solar panel that would be suitable?

I believe they have their own for $70-$80. Comes with the charger & a battery.

yes I use the moultrie solar panel, works good if you have a fairly open spot, after hooking up solar charger you wont have to worry about batteries again
