I'm looking into getting some Cabelas brand waders and have heard horror stories on the boot sizes.
I don't like to have the boot tight as I think the rubber against my foot makes me damn cold lol. I like to be able to wear thick socks and have a lil air buffer between my foot and the boot but not so much that it pulls off too easily without my wanting it to.
So, with all that said...what size boots did yall get in the cabelas brand and how do they fit for ya? How do the sizes compare to other brands...?

I found mine to be pretty accurate. I did try them on first though.

I wear size #13 waders and the last 2 sets have been Cabelas Dry Plus, they are great, never had a leak etc. Im a big guy and they fit well.
This year I switched to the new ones with the lace up boots, they are bad to the bone.

nothing beats trying them on but I think I got size 11 in their breathable waders when I wear a size 11 to 11.5 shoe or cowboy boot.
My only complaint is they are short in the inseam.

I'd love to try them on at the store, however that's not an option right now. I wish they'd build a store here lol. So on that note, I'm gonna have to wing it with the mail order. I had some Hodgeman waders that were 10 and fit just a lil snig but they died. Right now I have some hodgman that are 9s and they are a quite snug. I had some thicker socks on this past weekend and I could barely wiggle my toes. I usually wear 11.5 to 12s in shoes. All my waterproof rubbers boots that aren't attached to waders are 11s. They are also all various brands. Dunno if I should go 11s or 10s.

My New Blance shoes are size 11.5, but I got the Super-mag 1600 waders in size 10 boot. They fit perfect with a thick sock.

They seem to run just a hair big, a thick pair of sock and they fit great. Its normally cold when I wear then so it works out. If you are a walk in hunter or walk in the mud when you hunt get a pair of muck straps. They work wonders. Muck Straps

Recently bought the 1600 gram neos in size 10 and wear 10 1/2 boot. Plenty of room for thick socks too. Too hot for this weather though!

I wear 11-11.5 shoe and every pair of waders I've had I got a 10. My last 3 pair(including the ones I have now) have all been Cabela's brand.

I have the Cabela's ultimate waders size 12. I think the run true to size. Great product but the 5mm can be pretty warm in the early season.
the thing about baiting is, even a rookie hunter could have a 170 bird season if they bait holes

I've got a pair of Cabela's waders. I wear a 9 1/2 to 10 shoe, and I got a size 10. Shoulda got a 9...those boots pull off whenever I'm walking on anything but concrete. But, Cabelas makes great waders...this is my 4th season and no leaks.

Order the size of boot you wear now. They always fit great. Cabelas boots on their wadders seem tobe the most comfortable by far.

I wear 10.5 to 11 in shoes and got a 10 wader boot size. The consensus seems to be the boots run big so you can get a half size or full size smaller and be ok.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

I would go with the 11. I wear 12 shoes and bought a 12 and there is too much room. Still very comfortable but it makes it tough when walking in thick mud. i wouldve fit in an 11 easy and still had plenty of room i'd think.

I wear a size 9 1/2 boot. I bought a size 10 Cabela's dry plus waders and with a pair of wool socks and a pair of poisture wicking socks they fit great.
