I had it so bad one time that this buck was bout 100 yards away I was hunting a pipeline I had my scope on 6 an it goes up to 9 an his rack took up my scope so I was hunting on the ground that day I got ready for the shot I shot he jumped straight in to the air landed an took off I didn't find any blood but I haven't seen a buck like that since any one know of something that works well to attract em an hold em I have some buck bomb but I haven't put it out yet I'm waiting on rut but I was thinking I could possibly lure in a doe with it cuz they smell another doe in their area wat y'all think
If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at the front door, who do you let in first? The dog of course. He'll shut up once you let him in.

Different bucks make me feel differently about the buck fever question. Bucks that are smaller than the biggest one I have killed do not do much for me, but seeing a bigger and better deer than I have ever taken will give me the fever again and again. Also, a change of scenery always gets me to going with different expectations and gives me the fever about the next buck being the one that I will want to knock down.

Not a chance! Heck I get doe and hog fever too! I have learned to calm myself down, but have never lost the thrill of the hunt, I even got all worked up with the javis i shot last year.
