While all these other hateful folks on this forum who have someplace to hunt this weekend while we stay home and are on the interwebs wishing they were out there in the sticks stalking that big bad buck! My wife just gave me my marching orders to cut the grass in the morning. This year sucks!

Im not staying at home, but im stuck on the rig until the 17th, happens ever other year, i miss opening weekend!

I don't know how she did it but my wife planned every darn chore and family get together for this weekend. I'm SOL!

Unless I want to take my 3 yr old with me I am SOL also

My wife is in truck with me driving me to lease

My daughter went every year since 6 months old, take the three year old and go, I did and it has been an awesome ride she is now 12 and will be in stand again tomorrow am

I'm on call so I can't go to the stand. I can however hunt from the back porch, where I shot a 130" 13pt last opening day.

I'll be staying at the house, I ain't got anyplace to hunt whitetails, all I have are mulies here.
So looks like I'll be playng in the dirt by myself.

I'm home. Sux. Hope to get to the lease next week.

I'm not going this weekend but I'm leaving Thurs. to go

I am hunkering down. Not about to get off my backporch. The woods are full of all kinds of people...and they have guns. Some of them apparently have Jack Daniels...on 2nd thought, I may go visit with a few of them.

I'm taking my daughter and a couple of her friends to a softball camp. Hope to make the afternoon hunt. Gotta work on Sunday, so it may be Thursday before I get to go again.

I'm home tonight.

But I'll pull out of the driveway by 5am and be in the stand by 6am.

Hunting by myself all weekend unless I get trigger happy tomorrow. In that case, I'll be home tomorrow night. Otherwise, I'll enjoy a little solitude.

This is my weekend to work but I will be going Monday and I'm way past ready to go.

At least some of you have somewhere to go. I got's zero. Good luck and post pics to those who get out there.

I would love to take a hog. I can only kill a cold one right now. Hehehe....

I won't be hunting this weekend. I have no place to hunt this year. I will be hunting where ever I can bum a free hunt. I have a pig place with deer everywhere but the farmer doesn't want me to kill them, just the pigs. I have my good camera with me so I can "shoot" them that way

Got u all beat had a vasectomy reversal 2 Mondays ago no hunting for 6 weeks but got invited to a hunt dec4-8 so hope it works out and oh yeah Buddys I have invted the last couple years hope they pay back the favor

No hunting for me because I don't have a lease. Can't pig hunt until the season is over. Looks like winter crappie/cat fishing is going to have to feel the void.

I'll be in the field until Wed. But I won't get to hunt until Dec. 20. It's just too far of a drive to East Texas from here.

I'll be kind enough to do some scouting for ya, that way when u make the drive I will know where the deer are

Too many people at the lease this weekend. We only have 6 guys, but they are bringing EVERYBODY in their family. There will be almost 20 people there. I'd rather hunt Tuesday through wednesday and have the place all to myself.
