Anyone hunting this weekend in Medina county? We're headed to the ranch Friday night. We're on the south side of the lake.

On the north side the outlook is great, have seen allot of nice bucks.

We're hunting on my uncles ranch n the south side and apparently the ranchers in the past shot every deer that moved so the TPWD set up a wildlife management area recently so the bucks are kind of small in our area but there is one buck that is very dark I would like to see

I hunt south medina county and northwest....need info... early photos look good... numbers seem down because of two consecutive droughts though... I would advise on taking young does this year as older ones tend to have twins... get the numbers back.

Have hunted in Medina County for 30 years straight. Only been out twice this year, once during youth weekend and once this past weekend. Saw 11 does first time and 9 the second. Did not see a buck. But if the does stay around the bucks will eventually show up.
