my wife and mother-in-law were just talking groceries tonight. Going to be steaks on Sunday night (not coming home until Monday), not sure about the rest of the weekend, but with the 2 of them there, at least I don't have to do the cooking...

Ribeyes, fried backstrap, duck & venison sausage gumbo, grits, mac & cheese, cream peas & mustard greens. That's dinners anyway.

Friday Night: Ribeyes, baked tators, beans, and apple pie Saturday Breakfast: Steak and eyes, homemade tortillas Saturday Night: New York Strips, Mashed tators, cream corn, peacan pie Sunday Breakfast: Steak and eggs Plenty of colds with most meals. Here is my plug for my alma mater. If you are passing through Stephenville, TX during the week stop by the Tarleton State Meat Science building at the college farm. You can purchase fresh handcut beef for lowest prices in the world. We just picked up 1 1/2 inch fresh, handcut ribeyes for $4 lbs. Happy hunting.
