Man I can not wet one more day to go went out yesterday and got out of my car and it was raining and cold just got out and a don ran by right behind it was a huge 8 point buck it was like I was not even there to them so I got back in the car and had a beer to come me down man the deer are really run like crazes am so ready u drunk?

23 1/2 hours from now I'll be headed to the camp. If I didn't have a deadline to meet tomorrow I'd take off today. Can't wait to hit the road! The bucks I saw in my dreams last night don't grow here, but it was still a nice dream. LOL

It is going to be absolutely perfect. The deer are going to be cold and want to warm up. Corn provides bodyheat so I think they'll be hitting the feeders first thing. Wind suppose to be laying down as well which is always good. Unlike the past two years, I have high hopes this year and are already thinking about how I'm going to mount that big boy up I'm hoping to get.

Totally pumped and can't wait for opening weekend!! Come Saturday!! 35 degrees on sat morning.. perfect weather! Colder the better in my opinion.. I moved here from Wisconsin 4 years ago so the colder the better to get the deer moving. I'm also pumped because my girlfriend is going to be hunting for the first time and yes carrying a gun.. so got some first timers luck going on. Good luck everyone!

36 degrees for the low on saturday morning in Runnels Co. should be lots of deer moving! No deer in Runnels county...
