Have not shot one, but I am thinking of buying the 20 & 12. For the cost of both, compared to one of either of the benelli's or Beretta's. Don't get me wrong, those two may be "better" in others opinions. Is the 11-87 really that hard to clean?? And how fast do you really need to shoot in the field? For my money, I'd rather have the two vs one. I just wish Remington would offer the 11-87 sportsman in LH!

I have the 12 and it comes apart easily. Or so I think. The trigger assembly comes out easily, it tears down nice and simple.
They shoot plenty fast for me.
I just got a new Browning Maxus but will always have my 1187 near just in case

I love the Brownings, the Benelli's, and the Beretta's, but the remington 11-87 is $630 bucks at wally world....just cant beat that price. You can get a Browning BPS for that, the other two, don't think so! Not even a sniff. With that said, I'm a lefty, so I have been looking at the Benelli M2 for sometime now. It's the only quality shotgun offered in LH that I have found.

Thanks for the relpy's thus far. Kinda what i was thinking. I shoot a Browning Gold in 12 most of the time but wanted a 20 for early teal etc. The benelli's are nice, looked at them but $1,300 is a little steap. I also wanted a camo gun (hunt saltmarsh sometimes) and the Remington seems to fit the bill. Found it in camo for $630
