 So am I the only one getting stoked about opening morning? 35 degrees is forecasted....

I am getting pretty excited and with the temp so low it should mean a lot of good deer movement opening morning...what do you think?
How is it looking where you hunt?

This is the time when I start getting worried that something is going to throw a wrench into my Opening Day plans. It's not the time you want something major to break and need to be fixed, or end up in a dentist's chair or doctor's office.

I'm in the same boat deerhunter. 38 for the low at our place. I try not to think much about it because it just makes time drag slower. I am already packed up and everything is sitting by the door.

How is it looking where you hunt? X2 I'm getting excited as well. I even took the whole week off so I have an extended opeing weekend. Weather forcast says low 40 most days with one day being 35. Come one Friday.

i'll probably skip opening day and go out next monday or tuesday.
not that it matters, but my hunts tend to take place during the week rather on sat. or sunday.
fortunatly i'm exactly 1 1/2 hours from the front door to the gate, so quick trips are easy
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

what are you guys talking about, Ive been deer hunting since the first part of October, LOL. I probably wont even break out the thunderstick unless I get to take a trip to Oklahoma again this year.

Come on Saturday! Can't wait to get to camp Friday. Temp is gonna be good and very little moon. Nice a cool today. Hope a big boy is out there chompin on my corn during the day today.

GLC, start taking vitamin C chewables now to help knock out your cold. After your cold is gone, keep taking them! For the first dose take 1000milligrams to get your system kickstarted, it will probably be two 500mg tablets. Afterwards, only take one chewable per day. Keep yourself hydrated too, drink at least 32 ounces of water each day. Also, I like to take Tylenol Cold/Flu for the aches and pains. You may have to ask for it, however it's not prescription.

I had a bottle of wine for dinner last night. My daughter is 5 now but I remember having a few margarita baby bottles myself........oh wait, not that kind of bottle.  I'm stoked as all get out!!! This is my first season in an extremely long time and I'm on a good place with some good people. Hunting list; Gun, check Ammo, check food, check beer, check clothes, check I'm good to go! Eddie

Man I can not wet one more day to go went out yesterday and got out of my car and it was raining and cold just got out and a don ran by right behind it was a huge 8 point buck it was like I was not even there to them so I got back in the car and had a beer to come me down man the deer are really run like crazes am so ready
Like Eating GOD Food Every Day is a Holiday
