It's on the list of "load development needed"... Ihave several hundred, and eventually will try them in my 204R and 20-222. They are actually a tad shorter than the 40gr pills, which should help in getting them stable in the 1:12 twist. And would be a good choice if wanting to plug a piggie with a .20 cal.

once you get a few hundred rounds of a load that works great it's very difficult to get around to trying new stuff. I must have 700+ rounds loaded for my 204, but they are all packed with 35 grain Bergers. I guess my biggest hesitation with more experimentation with my 204 is that it's the most accurate rifle in my safe with these bullets, so I can't really justify looking any furhter, once you get under .25 inch 5 shot groups you are usually done unless you are a serious paper puncher. Load some up and let us know how you get them to work.

thanks for the input guys. just for the record, i dont reload. i just don't shoot enough so i go with the factory stuff. i'm half tempted to try this round on a deer but i'm guessin most of you would say that's a bad idea. thoughts?

If I was desperate, needed a deer for survival...sure, use your 204R. Otherwise, since we hunt as a sport, use something more suitable.
