I have a SWEET new spot at my land. Very excited to go there the only problem is that the mosquitos are HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean they are BAD!!! It is by a bunch of old tires that were dumped on my land and they hold water so that is why i am guessing they are so bad. Is there anything i can do. Bug reppelent? Thermacell? what would you guys do? Please help.

I can only echo the huys above, I don;t leave home without mine, but have been known to leave it hanging in a tree once or 10 times.(lol) Get you one and you won't be dissatisfied.

The thermocell works great for mosquitoes, only I have one problem with it. This is my first year using it, and out of six hunts I experimented with it, the threee hunts I took the thermocell I saw two or less deer. The three I didn't take it I saw no less than four deer every hunt. Needless to say, I don't take it with me bowhunting anymore. Coincidence, I think not, but that is just my experience and opinion, and you know what they say about those!

Love the thermocell. I did get busted by a deer the one time I used it this season though. Got down wind and went nuts. I use the Fresh Earth Scent pads in it. Who knows, that deer would have probably busted me without the thermocell. It is the only time I was busted so far this year though. If the mosquitoes are bad it's well worth the risk to me though.

the shannon bug tammer suit is the best money i ever spent.the thermocell dose not work here where i hunt.its like ringing the dinner bell.i called the folks at thermocell they where surpose to send a rep down to see why it wasnt working but he never showed.mosquitos will actually land on the therocell.guess they are coming to the heat.

The only time mine has "not worked" is if I am in my climber and a get a good breeze coming through. I have to move it to the other side of me so the breeze blows the stuff to me.
