might be better to try and trap some first so your deer aren't bothered

How big is your lease? Dogs do not know boundaries when it comes to a hog on the run. You might want to talk to the neighboring places to get permission to retrieve the dogs after the bay up.
No doubt about the AR crap, just damn shame hunters don't have self control and knowledge

I wont hunt during deer season. Too many trigger happy hunters. I would trap now and then run them after season. A good dog wont trash on a deer but the more you are in an area the less likely a mature buck will be. Get what I am saying? Deer wont flee to the next ranch but having your scent all over the place will run them out.

True most hog dogs are broke off deer and livestock But getting the hunter or rancher to believe it takes a showing in most of my hunting with dogs. Some have ruint it for the good hog doggers.Always stopped hunting through deer season for respect to other hunters. Some around me hunt at night and one of these days their dog will show up at someones camp and want understand why their dog was shot.Every one takes their hunting serious.

Deer wont flee to the next ranch but having your scent all over the place will run them out or make them go nocturnal. x2 dogs dont know boundaries and there are alot of hunters who will kill a dog regardless if it has collars. I wont hunt during deer season, but my main point is some guys wont let dogs on their place even outside of deer season because they think that dogs will get on deer and run them off for good and its simply not true.

Ive run dogs before and watched deer just sit there and look at us..... they could care less. Unless ur dogs start chasin em... and even then, i doubt the deer just get up and leave, they run in the brush and then come right back out.
