Hey guys, I've been lurking for a while on the forum. This is my first season in forever and a day. We went out last weekend and got my blind and feeders set up. I have been trying to get out for the past 6 weeks but between the truck needing repairs and a staph infection in my left leg I didn't make it.
I'm so friggin excited it's not even funny!! I love the outdoors and have been fishing since I can remember. This is going to be a blast. The lease I'm on is in Irion Co. just south of Schleicher Co. and has some good deer. I'll post some pictures when I get some.
Thanks for everyone that posts on the forum. I've learned a lot and have plenty more to learn.

Eddie

I have been bow hunting for a month now and can't wait until I'm climbing the tree again. I'm planning on bowhunting the next two weeks. Ready to get in my truck and head east. Welcome to the forum...

Thanks, Jigfish

Good luck Eddie.

And don't forget that what's most important is being able to get back to work on Monday. Hunt safe.

I used to drive thru Barnhard to get to Ozona and man I saw some of the largest bucks right on the edge of town. I don't know how close you are to there but good luck.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. The lease I'm on has a great group of people and they're very helpful and supportive, if I bring enough beer, HAHA.
It's 10 days to the big day now. I'm itchng to get out there. I'm hoping to take my does the first fews times out then sit back and see what comes in. Unless Mr. Monster decides to make an appearance then it's boom time. We shall see. Either way, WOOHOO, DEER SEASON IS ALMOST HERE!!!
