The last hog I trapped was 2 or 3 weeks ago and it was a boar. He tore all the trip wire to peices. Late friday night I set it again with some corn and a 6 pack of beer. I checked yesterday afternoon and nothing. This morning I come around the corner and the door was shut. Caught some more. [image][/image] [image][/image]

Actually my father in law built it about 15 years ago. The hog panels have been replaced a few years ago but other than that it is very sturdy. Seems to work well too, so far. He had it in his barn for the last three years. We finally set it out on the land a while back when he gave it to me. The last month or so is when I have been catching them though. I think it is because of the feeder on top. I fill it with corn when I am down there, and the trap is locked open so they can feed for a week or two at a time and then I go down there and set it.
