I have a Remington 870 pump youth model that I need help figuring out. No matter what brand shells I use, they all get stuck in the chamber once the gun has been fired making it hard to eject the empty. The gun is about 5 years old and has always had this problem. I've tried using oil but this didn't help. Any one have a answer for how to fix this problem?

by stuck do you mean hard to extract or the shell stays in the chamber when the action is opened after firing?
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

I've seen it many times, mostly with the cheaper field/target loads like the wally world winchesters. These shells swell after being fired and will be hard to extract. The more you shoot, the worse it gets.
The 870 express series does not have a smooth chamber. It's cheaper $$$ than a 870 wingmaster for many reasons, one being finish, inside and out. The lack of a polished chamber allows the shells to hang up easier.
I have seen this corrected by polishing the chamber using a drill and emory cloth or get it done professionally by your local smith.

Yes sir, it did'nt stop the problem completely but was alot better. It also seemed to be mainly a summer time deal. Did'nt happen as much in cooler temps. May have something to with barrel heat also.
When better shells (rem. heavy dove, win. AA) were used it rarely jammed but it cost him quite a bit more to shoot.
