Texas has the Carmen Mountain Deer in parts of West Texas but no Coues that I know of.

+1 There are parts of Texas that there are the Coues deer, but they are not recognized as such by B&C.

From what I hear the Carmen Mountain Whitetail is almost genetically identical to the Coues deer, but only Mexico, NM, and AZ have recognized populations of Coues deer.
