TH - I was just about to do the same thing. If we do this in the D/FW area I don't mind helping to get it going or even taking the lead on it (as long as I have some folks helping me out).

I would be willing to help as much as I can. We just need a place to hold the damn thing! Technical water would be nice and I say we just make it a Saturday event only.

I agree, I think it should be a Saturday thing as well. I say we just agree to have it in Decatur at the place you mentioned and go from there.

I tell you what I will go to Decator Saturday morn and check out the lakes and ponds to see where we can do this at up there. If yall want I will pick he place and post directions but we need to decide on a date. I vote for 2 weeks from this Saturday (don't know the date so help me here) Is that ok with all of you? it is easy to get to from any where in the metro mess area. I can even bring the old smoker out for it. Let me know what yall think of this idea. I will pick a place that will be good for started and seasoned and finished dogs. But with all the rain I need to go check out a couple of places to see which one would be better.

I would normally be down with anything to do with dogs within an hour from austin, but I would not be able to do it this month. Spending every free minute getting the house and yard ready for the annual crawfish boil
