What county?

A bad day hunting is better than a good day doing anything else.

I have been in the woods 4 out of the last 5 days and have not seen any bucks chasing in Titus Co.. I am seeing less groups of bucks and more singles plus I am seeing fewer does with tag along fawns. It is getting close.

Im still getting picture after picture of does and a set of twin fawns and a single fawn still with the does. They are coming out more in the late evening now and got a picture of one ten point under the feeder. They are hitting the feeders heavy which their are plenty of acorns also but not stopping them from feeders yet.Im thinking Nov.6th should be good especially if we get some cool weather.

saw a 4.5yr old 9pt (about 17-18" wide) running a doe yesterday around 11am. He had one thing on his mind & she had other plans, but I got within 30 yds of him before he decided it was too close for comfort.

Went to my hunting place in Grimes County Saturday. Saw plenty of does, but no bucks. Many acorns on the ground.
