Looking at buying a Trans Mule....Anybody have any comments..Pros /Cons...Another brand..Polaris,Yamaha...?

I had a 2003 Ranger. Traded my 4 wheeler for it. The ranger was nice, and I never had any issues with it. I got rid of it because I also like to ride the trails in Colorado. I couldnt do that with the ranger as it was too wide. So now I am back to a Polaris 4wheeler EFI and 2 seater at that. I wont go back to a UTV.

Ive got a Ranger and I love it. Have 2 buddies that have mules and have both had problems with the transmissions.

I have a Trans Mule. Love it so far. Zero problems with it but it only has about 40 hours on it.
Bought mine at Kawasaki City in Irving. No one else could come close to their price.

we have a trans mule, great ride, isn't as fast as the polaris and a bit rougher, but a nice ride.
I would rather have the trans mule than the crew cab ranger with the smaller engine, but the 800 in the ranger is a beast
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I looked at both the Mule and the Yamaha Rhino and settled on the Rhino because it had better ground clearance, larger gas tank, higher top end speed and having owned flawless Yamaha outboards and scooters I had faith in the brand. Love my Rhino.

Got the 2011 John Deere Gator XUV 825i and so far I has been an awesome machine. Kind of a cross between a Ranger and a the old utility gator. Very sporty.

Ive got a regular mule and my brother has a trans mule. Both are BEASTS. Would recommend to anybody. Got to be the most usefull toy I have ever bought.

yep i had a mule and had to sell it. i hated to sell it. yes a beast and workhorse. no way in heck im spending a fortune on a polaris.

Don't buy a POS Polaris ! I have one, I don't have enough space to list all the problems this thing has.
Anyone can own a fancy gun but can you shoot it ?

We had several rangers at the ranch and they were ALWAYS broke down. They would probably be ok for someone just to hunt out of or ride around the farm. But they dont stand up to work very well. Thats after having 6 of them, not just 1. We recently traded them for two JD Gators(a 2010 and 2011) and a honda big red. The gators are nice, but the big red is a BEAST. My favorite by far.

Have a ranger at the house and I worked at a Honda Shop for Several Years... Ranger's don't hold up to serious abuse, mules will, I don't have enough Rhino Experience to Comment, and we had some Big Reds Coming into the shop that looked like they had been driven off the side of a cliff several times and they all ran perfect. Honda builds stuff to be abused.
