So I decided to move to a new location on the lease early this year. there was a small 4x4 stand that was falling apart, unfortunately I am unable to post up any pics due to a computer crashing. But I needed to build something that could be setup in place, modular, since we were unable to get the tractor into position to raise it up. So I built a 5x6 in the garage, disassembled and took it out to the lease. Painting fun Dude got creative The old stand Down she went The new one loaded in trailer Setting up for base install and building the ladder

Once the base was secured, we raised the front panel Then each side and started securing them to the base and each other Then came the roof and then the rear wall my buddies that helped out (could not have done it without them) and the finished project with the windows in

I did the same with my blind. Built it in the garage able to take it apart and move it then put it together at the lease. I didn't raise mine though and wish I had. Maybe on the next one. Good looking blind you made there and the custom hand prints on front look great too. You may have to let your helpers have it opening day for all their efforts in the project.

without a doubt, I'll be taking these guys out after Thanksgiving. (guests arnt allowed before)
I was pleased it went up as planned. What we didn't planis the base not being level, and that created an issue with the roof dropping into place. but we worked that out as well.
Its cozy enough for the kids and I

Its cozy enough for the kids and I Yeah the old tower base was twisted about 1.5" and that made a big difference when installing the roof. We had to pull every wall anchor screw and shake the whole thing for the roof to drop in. Mind you this was done 12' up.(tip) When building on garage floor leave some wiggle room on the modular pieces. It WILL NOT fit the same in the field. Yes I'm packed and ready to head out ASAP. I just need to brush-up on my "42" skills

It's nice to have friends that will help you out when you need it. Nice stand, and good job involving the kids!!
