I plan on spending a few weekends in LA and at least one weekend in AR (if they get birds) but they are at my friend's places so cost won't be much outside of fuel costs getting there.

Pheasant hunting the first week of November in South Dakota. Will be free-lancing it (public lands). Airfare, hotel, rent car and meals paid for. Probably cost me $300.

Kansas opening weekend of phesant. We hunt a lot of CRP but some private land. We pay an old man that lives up there about $100 a man for getting us a few places to walk. The whole weekend, I'll spend around $500. Thats food ,hotel, beer, gas, and license. We go pretty cheap and have a blast.

Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Maryland. Hunts are with friends and family so the hunts cost nada. Airplane ticket to Maryland, gas to Oklahoma and Mississippi. And out of state license for all three is my cost.

Couple of you guys hunting Iowa.....pheasant numbers are at a all time low. We have had several bad winters. No problem for the deer hunter though....

belgium in december
no limits on ringnecks and mallard
you can easely shoot 50 ducks in the morning, 100 ringnecks in the afternoon, and another 20-40 ducks in the evening.
its awesome. hunting on 5 different small ponds surrounded by trees and fields of uncut corn.

I lucked in on a drawn Goose hunt in OK again this year for like the 5th or 6th year in a row and I have a return invite to Louisiana from a forum member that I hope to make. But this year I have no big extended planned trip like I had been doing. I will probably do more local hunting, especially waterfowl and snipe. I will bank some extra vacation days for something big next year. But you never know with me. I could end up just about anywhere on a spur of the moment whim.
