I was going to try and do some pig hunting this winter with a 35 cal marlin lever action , think that will work?? Anyone shot one I havent even shot the gun yet.

Should work just fine. I have one and I have shot hog with it. Lever action rifles are great hog guns

should work really well for you I have owned own before that I used fot deer up North and it had great knock down. Great 100 yard and under rifle.

It's a good round.

Violent impact. I've hunted with one for most of my life.

As mentioned though, it's not a 'hail mary' round. Keep it under 200 yards and you'll be fine.

Look into the Hornady LeverEvolution ammo for it.

Should do just fine I'd think. I know my Marlin 30-30 knocks 'em down just fine. I've only hit them with it out to about 125 yards at most probably. It can kick the heck out of coyotes too. Tears 'em a new one every time.
