Can anybody reccomend a good/user friendly gps for mapping? I am wanting to buy one so that I can make maps of my hunting locations. But with so many out there it is hard to decide.

Thanks

Bushnell makes a GPS now that you can download sat images onto, now that's cool. It may help you out on mapping your place as well. It's only 199.00 at Academy.

I know that Garmins are good also, but I have been using Magellas gps for about 10 years. I currently have a Magellan Explorist 600. It is the top of the line but has all of the features that you would want, including the electronic compass and expandable memory. It may cost more than what you want to spend but it is well worth the money. Check on line at the GPS store and you can get the best price on almost any model of GPS.
