Is there a reason to buy "aftermarket" tubes, or are they(factory tubes) as good as you're going to get. I'm going to shoot Black Cloud most of the time, so I'm a little leery about ported tubes(don't know if I should be though). Should I just stick to the factory tubes, or is there something I'm missing?

The age old question, I personally use the factory chokes until I can actually see a difference in my pattern. good luck

Get an extended BC tube...reason I like extended is because they do protect the end of your barrel. If you hit the end of your gun or drop it you will dent or mess up the choke and not the end of the barrel.
Don't let your ears hear what your eyes didn't see, and don't let your mouth say what your heart doesn't feel As much as I hate to admit it, I do like my truck

Agree on both points; Briley chokes are the way to go and you'll bang that barrel sliding it into the truck at 0'dark:30. Ported chokes? Your call on the ported thing. Not my choice but then again I don't have spinners or curb feelers on my hunting vehicle. just kidding. But do note that ported chokes are LOUD. They'll deafen your blind mates. Used for sporting clays, not hunting 2 feet from your buddy in a confined space. I want the boom to go forward, not out the side next to the guys in the blind with me. Benelli + Black Cloud = drop ducks like rain http://www.cabelas.com/fryprod-0/product--Briley-Waterfowl-Chokes--708346.uts.shtmlhttp://www.stormchasersnetwork.com

The benelli crio plus factory chokes are very good! I do have some after market chokes for my benellis but mainly to fill in the gaps (i.e. skeet and light modified).
For duck hunting, I use the the factory IC and 3" #3 Kent Fasteel for almost everything except teal. For teal 3" #4s and #6s.

If your shooting black cloud get a black cloud choke. I'm a huge kicks high flyer fan so they have the vortex line that is meant for bc. Duck commander crew uses em and I like the way the ducks blow up. Might give it a shot

If your going to shoot BC get A BC choke. Ported chokes will screw up your pattern because of the reverse opening shot wad in the BC shells. You can read about it on the BC web site. Many people don't realize this and thats why they are always bad mouthing BC..

I hunt from a layout blind, so unless you and your buddies like to snuggle in one, I'm pretty sure a ported choke isn't going to bother anyone I hunt with. And I took the spinners off my hunting rig, because they are a pain in the *** to get all the mud out of.
