I know you fine fellows already put what your dream hunt would be. I for one put mine down for the forum to see and got teased a little , but thats what fellow hunters do. Well I pose another question. If you could go on any hunt , anywhere in the world, with anybody, tell me where , what , who and why. I will go first.
I for one (besides my big cat with my bowie dream hunt) would love to travel up to Alaska and take a great big grizzly with Ted Nudgent by my side. I put alot of thought into this and believe he would be a great and wonderful hunting companion. I also thought about what weapon I would want to use. I have thought it over and chose to go with a 8 ft spear. Why a 8 foot spear you might ask? I realize the reach and speed of a grizzly and (yes I love extreme hunting) I just dont think Im fast enough and strong enough to take him with a bowie and would need the reach to do the hunt right. I would have ole Ted for back up so it shouldnt be a real problem.

Mine would be with Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion hunting buxom blonds with bows in their hair. Now that's my kind of bow hunting.

Seriously Nugent?
I would tie a steak to his waist and use him for bait. That would be the ultimate hunt in my book. Maybe he could run the bear off with a political rant apologizing to the veterans that he dishonored early in his career. Hack.

i would second the dream hunt being at the mansion shooting playful co-eds with a toy bow and suchtion cup arrows.
sounds like a fine time.....
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

some folks would only be successful on that hunt if their choice of weaponry was a tranq gun.

Jeez, not another....... I wonder how many pages this will make? You must have been confused on my comments.... I wasn't kidding when I said that if you went hunting a cougar with a knife, it would thin the gene pool out.... I'm serious! And as crazy as Uncle Ted is.... I think he could out run you and your spear!
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

Man your post was good and dandy until you mentioned Ted. Now you've open a can of worms that is gonna spread like wild fire!
There is A TON of Ted haters on here as well as a few guys who like him.
Me... I'm in the middle. BUT I do envy your craziness/stupidity for wanting to spear a freaking Grizzly!

why settle for a grizzly.... one could search a while and never get close enough with a knife to kill one. If I were wanting to aim high and increase the chances of a close encounter (even though it will be 1 for 1), I would set my sights on a Polar Bear!!!!

Helpful hint: when running from the bear avoid running up or down the hill. Always run along on the slant!!!

Good idea, ain't nothing worse than ending up as Grizzly scat on the side of a hill. Remember to remove all your jewlry, it's tough on they're digestive track.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

When hunting grizz with a knife it is important to remember that you don't have to outrun the bear. You only have to outrun your hunting partner. So choose a slow one.

ACT like you're going bear hunting with Ted to get him up there...once you're in the woods, it can be a human hunt....best case scenario yall come to a stalemate and both expire in the forest...then the bear will come get his dinner

don't take her...the bear is no match for her. She would put lipstick on it, then talk it to death.

I still say go for polar bear...just think, you, BB, and the polar bear...all alone out on an ice cap w/ a camera man hovering in a chopper to be sure the footage will live on forever. disclaimer: Rifleman takes on no responsibilty for the actions of others, this is a free country and the actions of others, since not threatened in any manner, are those of their own accord. I would highly suggest not trying the above example, of what clearly is presented in a joking manner, at home. There is even a smiley indicating this is indeed a joke.
