I need new vanes on my arrows and thinking about going with blazers the Bohning fletching tool made for the blazers. The tool I have now does not have much of a helix. If you do use the blazer is it necessary to use the crest wrap that comes in the kit or can you glue straight to the shaft? I am using Goldtip arrows. Thanks.

Yes, we use nothing but Bohning Blazers. The new fletching tool is great as well.

I use this same setup, the crest wrap I thinks your talking about goes on the fletch tool to keep the glue from sticking on the tool itself, I use wraps on my arrows but I'm sure you can glue strait to shaft if you want to, I use wraps because it's easier to clean for refletch
