how do i clean them... or do i worry?

they were in the quiver on my canada hunt and we got a lot of rain.

i tried to scrape off the rust each day, but still got some.

they are montec CS blades....

do i just oil them down a bit or do i need to resharpen them...

Stuff my dad said in the deer blind

"I can dive deeper and come up drier"
"did you do that?"

Wire brush and oil, then resharpen them you'll be fine. If the rust is not too deep you can use some steel wool.

BJ is right all the way around. From now on every time you sharpen them be sure to apply oil. A few days before a hunt I will even spray oil in the foam on my quiver to keep them protected.

Send em to me ill return them after the rust is off. grin

Vinegar will remove rust pretty well and you dont have any odor lasting. Give it a try prior to oil. up

I use a big diamond stone, just lay them flat on the stone and gently rub them back and forth do all three sides and your good to go. I used vegetable oil last year on em and still no rust.
