Well the corn is out and I'm set up sfter not wanting to get out of bed. Its cool and calm. Ther woods are waking up. I've alrerady heard an axis piping off in the distance. I've got a deer blowing at me

That was short lived. One bigger doe did about 5 barks right in front of me. They never would give me an angle. Now they are gone

I would have shot one of the axis if given a good chance
I just figured out part of the problem. Could be the fact since we don't have cows on our lease but there is a very one standing outside my popup! I wonder how long its been here

I hate cows when hunting!!! Had a big white albino looking cow bust a stalk I was making on a nice coues deer. I made it to 70 yards and BAM! cow.

If they are around all the time the deer will get used to them but still may avoid them.
