Once Wednsday is gone, i am done with work for the rest of the week. i don't think it will ever get here. But like you, it's killing me.

Been waiting for a whole year. It never gets old that feeling of "can't wait". Thursday is like the longest day of the whole year and Friday goes so fast that no way are you even ready and you feel like you have forgotten your release and your bow. And none of your broadheads are sharp enough and your sights are all off. And then you wake up Saturday morning and the butterflies start flying around. You make it to the stand and have everything in place.
And just as the light comes enough to see just a little everything looks like a deer. MAN. I can't wait. Gotta love it!!!!!!
Let's go shoot something.

This is my first year to bowhunt and it's the longest week of the year. It's worse than waiting for Christmas when I was a kid.

I'm 54 years old and still get excited about opening day. Have been going to lease every weekend since April checking cameras, filling feeders, building feeder pens, stands, bow stands, etc. All the preparation making it special for me. Can't wait.

Yah I hear ya!! Typically everything catches on fire in the office on Fridays when I am trying to get out of town early...
Not this week, all my clients know that Friday is a religious holiday for me, and that I will be leaving Thursday at lunch. All of their fires can burn until Tuesday when I get back!!!
I am ScentLok washing my clothes right now, and just finished loading my truck... This is gonna be the longest 24 hours ever!!
