I read an excellent article about broadheads in this yr's archery edition of buckmasters. It talked about having your BH as sharp as possible to cut better. Basically you want a smooth clean cut instead of a jagged rough cut as the rough cut will clot easier and could cause you to loose your animal. The clean cuts will nto clot as easily and your animal will bleed out faster. This was all being said without a vital shot. I am going to stick with my Rage's
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

As cool as they look and for the vast majority of situations/shots you would be fine, you never see a surgeon using a serrated edge...hmmm?

think of it from this standpoint though....it is much harder for the same surgeon to stitch up say a shark bite (serration) than an axe blow (non serration). seems like to me it would cause more trauma to the wound personally. but no, I don't use them either.....lol

I use Steelforce. I use the smooth but could only find the serrated ones last time I bought them. The serrated do "whistle" when you shoot them though. I will stick with the smooth (if I can still find them).
