This year we have a new ranch that we are opening to deer hunting. Hunts are $200/day with no kill fees what so ever. We are under antler restrictions in Montgomery so the 13 inch rule does apply. First 3 weeks of general season you can take does. I only have a few limited spots this year and once there gone thats it. This ranch is about a hour from Houston and close to Lake Conroe. We have 12 stands and feeders up some of which are made for bowhunting, others are the big two person ground blinds and tower blinds like you would see at Gander Mountain. Now even though we have 12 stands, we want to keep it at around 3 hunters per weekend unless a group books. If you book 5 or more hunters, you can reserve the whole place. This ranch also has a stocked catfish pond which is catch and keep or release, your choice. ATV's and UTV's are welcome with groups or on low booked days. Otherwise we provide transportation if needed. Dates that already booked are Oct 2-3 and Nov 6-7. All other weekends are available for booking for now. This ranch has a lot of potental for nice deer, and with all the feeders now up and going and winter food plots up, there will be alot of game in the area. Also, we allow overnight camping at no extra charge. We also have a big cast iron fire pit and grill, plus bathrooms, running water, and a cleaning station for your game. Yeah, here are some pictures from some of the cameras we run from time to time. The eight point in the second to last picture was killed last year, but his off spring is still around. The 10 point was never killed, so who knows how big he is now. He doesn't like to show up at feeders, but sometimes runs the wood lines. I don't run the cameras that much any more because these animals blow through my batteries in a week and it's the same pics just aout every time. I also get the occational bobcat and coyote on film too.

so for $200 a person, you get a buck, doe, hogs, and varmits?

That is correct, plus you can set up camp on the property if you want, or hotels are only 15 minutes away. And Lake Conroe is about the same distance as well.

Yes, we can set you up. What day or days are you looking at? Also, your welcome to come out the day before and scout around, place out climbers or ground blinds or also use our couple of bow stands.

So what do you get for $200?

Basically if the season is open you can take it. If your looking at filling some tags and getting some meat this is a good hunt for you. Check in times are also adjustable, you can either check in in the morning and hunt all day, or check in at noon and campout and hunt the next morning. Plus we have a stocked pond for fishing.

So you could fill all your deer tags, plus hogs and varmits? That is a sweet deal.

Just to clear things up, the first 3 weeks you will be able to take both bucks and does. After Thanksgiving weekend, our county "Montgomery" goes to bucks and spikes only.

Open weekends Ten point. Plus we had 5 does taken. Over 20 deer were seen by 4 hunters. This ten point beat out the the 13 inch rule by a good amount. Also I have a Thanksgiving special. Hunt Friday, Saturday and Sunday aftet Thanksgiving for $500 a hunter and no kill fees as always. We also have all weekends available in December and week days are open as well.


This hunter came out on a one day hunt for $200 and walked away with a buck and doe with no kill fees.
