4 days of 15 minute limits. Those suckers come in in groups of 20 and 30 at a time. I did notice last night that the numbers had gone down so you southern folks should be in them pretty soon.

Pic of the wife hunting before the 4 inch rain with her new Montefeltro.

I have o ly got 2 birds so far this season! But this is my first year hunting anything. I have 3 places that I go 2 public and 1 private and none seem to have any birds at all! Oh and I have no decoys to help either. But I should by next season so i am not to worried about it!! Went down by floydada, my budy said he has birds outthe butt, when I get there I see nothing!!

Good tosee others are doing good though

bang bang bang bang

Well it seems gents that the folks at Benelli did not design the 20 gauge montefeltro for the woman with long fingernails as its hard to load with her nails on. I told her that the conversation prolly never came up as they constructed the gun. She said well they should have thought of that. So she goes on to gripe about that and miss her first 5 shots and shooting me a go to heck look after every miss and then.....she smacks a double and the birds roll in and the HUGE issue with the loading of the gun is all but forgotten.

So, Treebass to answer your question......I love the gun, but have no clue about her.

Funny thing is, I hunted last night and called my BIL who showed up with his wife. Birds all over the place, my wife rolls up on the bad boy buggie and they take off to go drink beer. Those gals love to hunt, but they'd rather drink and drive the ranch anyday of the week.

Thats how I'd roll to if someone would drop me off and pick up and clean all my birds. She's the best lady I've ever been around and if thats what it takes to make her smile then so be it. I have nothing better to do then let her shoot some birds and hang out all afternoon, thats for sure!

I sure hope you are right about that. Up until the day before our season opened, they were everywhere, haven't seen but a few since that day. But it sure is nice coming home from work and sitting out back with the wife and my son whether the birds are there or not.
