i put a pig pipe out a week ago. checked it today and the corn i had spread around it on the ground was all gone but the log has not been moved. im thinking squirrels rabbits and maybe deer ate it all. if hogs had come, they would have rolled the pipe. how do i attract hogs over all this other stuff? also, my holes are too small to let corn drop out when the pipe is rolled. what size holes do yall drill? saw a website that said 5/8", cant remember what i drilled mine

I put 5/8" holes in mine and it lasted for about 2 weeks after I filled it up.

i FOUND OUT IT TAKES TIME FOR THE PIGS TO FIND IT AND ONCE THEY DO LOOK OUT...... I HAVE TWO FIVE FOOTERS AND SOME HOW THEY GOT THEM LOOSE FROM THE CHAIN ...IM STILL LOOKING FOR THEM

5/8 HOLES ARE GOOD BUT DONT PUT TOO MANY HOLES IN YOUR PIPE I PUT 6 IN A FIVE FOOTER IT MAKES THEM WORK FOR IT AND STAY AROUND LONGER

I just put one out yesterday in a spot that the pigs already hit.I had pics of the sorriest bunch of pigs. Skin and bones!? Don't know how to download, sorry. Got one nice 200# boar. I used a 1/2 bit bit then /reamed/hogged the holes out. I'll let you know when I check it out.

I have one out that is seven foot long. I drilled six holes with a 1/2" bit. I did reem it out a little. Anyway it is working fine. Lots of hogs coming to it.

you should be able to roll the pipe with your foot and the corn should come out. just play around with it until you get the right size hole.

Iput it out and went back two weeks later and they had been rolling it around pretty good. So i'm not sure how long it took them. It's right next to an old pond in a swampy area. I won't be hunting it until deer season starts.
