It may fly past the Mathews, but not my Bowtech 82nd. The numbers you posted are right what my GTO is running but at 70lb+- and 28in draw

I used the old chronograph yesterday on my Z7. I have a 27.5 inch draw, and my bow is at 60 LBS. It shot 280 and I don't think thats too bad. I took my bowtech 82nd in tuesday night and its shooting 315 fps. Set at 60 lbs and 29.5 in draw length i think. I could increase my lbs up to 70 and get lighter arrows if I want to (im shooting heavy arrows for knock down power) and I would be shooting even faster. I dont think thats to bad. I don't understand why people get a huge kick about 1 uping and criticizing Mathews Becuase ya'll take some much offense to it. Truthfully not many bad bow out there... now days its more personal choice.. they all pretty much shot lights out

Sure there are bows that shoot as fast as a Mathews, but you won't find one that is as smooth, balanced, and as tuned. It's like comparing a Lexus to a Kia; sure they both go fast and get you to the same place, but one is going to bump the he&% out of you getting there. I've shot pse, hoyt, bear, etc. and they are in my opinion, garbage compared to my Mathews switchback. Most people like what they have because they've never shot a Mathews; and if they have, they are too proud to admit Mathews is better. When you buy a Mathews, you get the best quality on the market.

LMAO Crack kills brother... and if you truelly think this they there are a lot of bows you haven't shot. I shoot an elto GTO- But I'll say the Elite Judge, Bowtech Destoyer and Hoyt Maxxis are pretty damn smooth and thats with them being dual cam bows. not to mention the backwall of a single cam Mathews isn't near what the three mentioned above are...

Definitely on crack, lol. I shot the Mathews Reezen and hated that bow. I love the Mathews company, but can't stand there bows, they're not made as good as the others. Why do they have the dampeners in there riser? Maybe it's because they have so much shock, they need all the help theey can get. I have the Maxxis 31 and I absolutely love it, but my next bow will be an Elite or a Strothers.

If you want to pay twice as much as a PSE bow madness and say "Catch us if you can" then go ahead, but all the bows now will do the trick. Mathews is buying the bow for the name.

You sir are either delusional or haven't been able to shoot many others.. for one the elite line is outstanding with speed, smoothness, amazing finish, and lifetime transferable warranty.. Mathews makes a couple good ones (monster 7 is as good as they get) but not like the judge or gt500.. and yes I have shot a mathews

The drawback to a 82nd is ATA length, there is no way I want a bow with an ata length at 36", with that said, if it works for you then that's what you need to shoot

Say what you want. NOTHING, beats a Mathews. NOTHING. End of discussion. Every bow out there is compared to a Mathews. If it ain't a Mathews, it is just another bow.
Now there are some other bows out there that are good bows, but Mathews is the best.

Hey what about Mission......yeah I know they are made by Mathews.
I just know that when I decided to get into bow hunting a couple of years ago I couldnt bring my self to spend $1000+ on a full rig. After a bit of research I decided on a Mission Eliminator. So far I love it. No idea how fast its shooting (28" draw at 70lb's), but I'd guess 270ish??? Took me a few dozen shots to get good and comfortable where I could bust the nocks at 20yds. Thought that was pretty good for a newbie.
Just my 2 cents
Never shot any of the namebrand bows by the way, I'm sure they all can make a great bow though.

Give it up Dan. Take your Bowtech and shoot some more boards and let the big boys talk a little. My cheap PSE gets there slower than yours but we will see who sticks one first.

OK. Maybe I should post some pics of me shooting through a 2x4 block with my 82nd. As for sticking one first, mine may not be first but it will be bigger. Bowtech means faster, bigger, and better.

I want to see you shot a dozen Carbon Express Max Hunter arrows through a a cinder block I don't think the 82nd can do it
