Another question on the Yildiz's. I was looking at the Yildiz Special o/u($579) at Academy yesterday and they only had two of them. One on display and one in the box. The gun felt and looked good but the lever would not go to the center when the gun was closed. It was off to the right. Is this normal or is there something wrong with it? The other model($399) of the Yildiz was centered. The employees said that have not noticed that before. I just don't to buy a new gun and then send it in for repair. Anyone seen this before?

I have not noticed that but I did notice their O/U's do not lock as tight as I would like them to.
I have a Yildiz .410 and its okay other than the cheap tang safety.

I have seen it before on other guns. My buddy's Citori 425, a very nice gun, does that too. It is off to right side, the direction it opens.
Never heard of Washington Texas, but all warranty related issues are dealt with here in Houston by Briley, a fantastic gunsmith and expert on all things shotguns.
I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

Washington is located NW of Houston off of Hwy 290. You would take a right in Chappell Hill and go approx 17 miles.

they're suppose to be off to the side it opens, gives it room to "wear" to the center, if its center then be sure and check for "tightness". this goes for all break open guns

mines brand new and my buddies is 1 yr old. they are both off to the right, i think it might be off to the side so you can see the front bead.. probably wrong but it sounds good

Its normal. As you shoot the gun in more it will SLOWLY move to the center/just right of center and stay there for a while. if it starts to move left of center its time for a rebuild.
I could start talking about camming surfaces and potrusion of the locking lug, but most people dotn care about that kind of stuff.
its got nothing to do with anything else.
