Option 3 is for Drawing Results; Option 1 is for preference points, and Option 2 for application status.

Take a look at page VII of your booklet. Has everything you need to know on it.

Did not draw youth CC either.

Some years I am a happy little dung beetle with a fresh "pie" like last year getting drawn twice on categories I had low PP's in ... and then so far this year with up to 8 PP's in one category I am getting skunked like a bug on a windshield. But if'n ya doan't put in ya will NEVER get picked for sure. Oh well I still got 13 PP's riding on a EXO drawing at Garner and 12 PP's for the Spring Turkey thingy at Walter Buck.

Looks like I'm gonna have to try to Standby Hunt anything within 3-4 hours of Lake Texoma or take my chances in the battle zones shown in the APH book. Couple years back I heard that the LBJ/Caddo Nat'l Grasslands area north of Honey Grove had over 2000 hunters check in for opening weekend on 13+k acres in one plot and another 2700 acres scattered down around Ladonia.
Good Luck All

Go my notice of selection today for the Gun Deer:Management Either Sex at Lake Mineral Wells. Even though it is just for does/spikes(or 1 unbranched antler), I am super pumped that my brother and I got drawn on our 1st time to ever enter the drawings.

Anybody ever been drawn at Lake Mineral Wells? Any pointers/advice?

Ok this might be a stupid question but where do you enter to get drawn? How do you enter? Is it just for Whitetail? Basically I'm asking how the whole thing works?

Squiggy...I thought that was you I followed into Blind #7 or #8 on the afternoon of the 2nd day. You tagged out and needed to leave for east texas early was what your brother said. I am the old fart that was driving the tan chevy p/u with a big dent in the tailgate that was hunting alone.
LMSP is a fun place for sure... I hope to get back there sometime soon, and the only other place I've wanted to get back to was Walter Buck or S Llano River just outside of Junction.
