Looking for a place to go dove and duck hunting this year and hopefully years to come. Looking for an area not far from Grapevine to do this. Don't mind spending money to hunt, just the wallet doesn't go that deep yet. Day leases are really what I am looking for. Also, I got a few friends that would be coming with me if that would be alright.
Workin' to hunt. Wishin' I was huntin' to live.

check out grapevine lake. dont know if they do drawn duck hunts. i know they do it for deer. permit is free. lake ray roberts can be productive for ducks. $48 annual public hunters permit is required.

grapevine lake is a draw for deer this year. I didnt get drawn but my friend did. You can get a permit for hog and duck hunting without a draw.

Yeah, duck filled up fast this year. Going to check out a couple of other lakes in the area. Got a place to go in Stephenville, just really don't like making that drive early in the morning just for the day.
