what is your guys prefered brand for hunting dove, quail,etc.
I've always shot winchester dove and quail loads, and remington No. 27 nitro express when I feel like getting fancy.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Dove = whatevers on sale
Quail = Remington STS #9's
Pheasant = Fiochi Golden Pheasant 3" #5's(gonna try out Federal Prairie Storm this season)

Priced a couple bucks higher, but if you're not shooting a box a weekend, it's worth it for patterns and flight characteristics.

Mostly Rio's for dove. Mostly Blackcloud and Kents on ducks #3 shot.

I roll my own  Dove it is a 7/8oz 7.5. Duck it is 7/8oz - 1oz 3,4,5,6's...depending.

remington heavy dove 7 1/2 for dove and quail both. Unless winchester is cheaper. I dont think you need the expensive ammo for dove and quail. Remington has never failed me.

Me too. Remington or Federals...soon as I shoot up the Winchesters...they're out of here. Gun just seems to pattern better with the Rems and Feds..
