I don't have any teal deeks? Any suggestion on alternatives. I also have a dove mojo. Any thoughts on that working?
I am going to scout a place a got a few teal last year during big duck season. What do you think the chances of them being here for early season. Its south of metroplex.

ok, sorry, inside joke.
use your hens, heck, use anything, and teal are fickle, here one day gone the next just hunt it and see but scouting never hurts either.

Teal are not picky or even careful. Yes they love dove Mojos. Shoot them and start calling ASAP and they will come back for another round most of the time.

what deckhand stated, I've used my dove mojo in many duck settings. It works

I don't do early teal. All my spots suck for teal. I'll stick with the dove for another month and half...then it's go-time.

Deckhand said it perfectly.. you can limit out on the same string after they been shot at, they usually come back for more...

Well, last year they were so commited to coming in were we were, that after we got our limit, we were standing up and the birds were still coming in on us.

I would bet you can take coke bottles, paint them brown, tie a weight to them, and kill a limit if you are in the right place.

I had a group attach my dove mojo the other day in the dove field. Teal aren't too bright this time of year...
the thing about baiting is, even a rookie hunter could have a 170 bird season if they bait holes

Thats ok. I found the hone hole last night. It looks SUPER ducky and I havnt seen any teal there so that means they will be all over it saturday.
