I am using a mathews conquest pro. set at 65 lbs. 28" draw I am shooting easton epic 400 graphites with 100 gr fieldtips and 100 gr muzzy 3 blade. My muzzys are hitting 5" low and 3" left but are grouping. Some say that is a muzzy problem some say not. I am noticing some arrows look like they are kicked a little to the left when they hit the wall. Does this sound like my rest may be a little off and if so which way. I did the walk back tune and seemed to be pretty close (4 arrows from 10 to 40 - 10 dead on 20 a little right 30 dead on 40 a little left) Please help, thanks in advance.

Do a paper tune. If it's good then changed BH's.

Sorry - Octane Hostage rest. I have not paper tuned. I did walk back tune and it was pretty close to right. Someone suggested lowering my knock point or raising my rest slightly, then check center shot. Why ditch the muzzy's? I dont think that will fix my problem.

If your bow is tuned properly the Muzzys will be fine. That being said all I know is paper tuning and the walk back method. Im wondering if the arrows are spined correctly?

Your broadheads may be out of tune. That's not necessarily due to the tyope of broadhead. I've always found Muzzys to be very balanced.
Take an arrow with a Muzzy on it. Stand it up point down on your hand and spin it. If it spins smoothly they your good to go. If it vibrates they your insert may not be trued and centered. If you find an arrow like that I would use it for target practice and never put a broadhead on it to take hunting.
But make sure you are paper tuned properly also. As for moving the rest. If your feathers kick left. you would have to move a drop away rest left. I forget if it is opposite for a non drop away rest. You do want the arrow lined up with the cam though. Also, make sure you have the right Spined arrow, length and broadhead weight matched up for your poundage. You can do this on most arrow websites. I use goldtip arrows so I go to the goldtip website and use the arrow builder to see how my arrows are balanced.

I would atleast try different broadheads like thunderheads. See if you are having the same problem. I used muzzys and I was going to have to tune my bow so I stopped using them.

The majority of post I see about tuning issues and flight patterns start with muzzy. I had the same problem when I used them. I think they are popular because of price. Get some Slick trick magnums or G5's and be happy.

I shoot Rage and Muzzy, mine fly like my field tip. One the bow is tuned. Two and I found this to be the biggest help with muzzys, I went to the hardware store with my arrow and a muzzy. I got an o ring that fit my arrow, put that on my muzzy where it screws into the arrow and tightened it to where the blades lined up exactly with my blazer veins. Result, throws strikes every time. Numerous kills year after year with this. I do not use expandables often, curious about the Rage's and will use them on some deer this year, but Muzzy is the one I use all the time and make clean kills with

I do not use expandables often, curious about the Rage's and will use them on some deer this year, but Muzzy is the one I use all the time and make clean kills with I have used the Rage 100gr for the last year and have had decent success...good groups with no torque issues..so far so good on those, I have always shot Thunderhead 100's up until then or 125 back when I was using alum arrows and I had no issues with them but, I did shoot some WASP broadheads one year.. I did not like them too much.. seems if I can remember correctly I was having issues like the muzzy so I switched. Anyhow, the wife wanted some diffrent broadheads this year and I got her the Rage 40KE for lower # bows (she only shoots 50lbs) She has been shooting them every night from the deer stand I put up in the backyard and has had very good groups. I hope you like the Rage...let me know when you stick-one with the exspandable!

If you dont want to switch broadheads i would check your arrow thru paper at 8 yards. If you cant get a bullet at 8 yards its not just the broadheads its your setup. Also make sure your broadheads are tuned to the arrow. If your hitting low left rotate your shaft to the right and since your using a hostage rest make sure the vanes are clearing the bristles. By rotating the shaft you are changing the impact point. Serveral factors come in to play also like having the correct spine shaft for yopur current setup.
