Free range southwest of Van Horn Texas along the rio grande river.

5 Day DIY type hunt. The ranch is 15,000 acres comprised of rolling hills, small mountains, washes, fields, and river thickets. Multiple springs.

No lodging. Camp site has running water from a spicket from one of the springs. There is an area to throw a large tarp over for shade. Good road system throughout the ranch. A good 2 wheel drive high clearance with beefy tires will make it majority of the places.

Each hunter may take 1 aoudad of there choice, hog hunt the river, javelina, predators, and varmints free of charge. Fishing in the river included. No other animals may be taken. There are some oryx on the ranch and available on a very limitted basis.

I was out there this past weekend. We took a nice ewe and the ram bellow from 2 seperate herds. Available to book year round except deer season. I will book and run these hunts as long as the aoudad are arround. The numbers of aoudad are not great but they are huntable populations.

That is a bargain for someone wanted to get a free range ram. Good luck with the hunts.

early October was booked today as well as early November.
Mid October and late December to mid January is available and March.

Had good reports of aoudad sightings from some hog hunters this past weekend.

I will begin baiting with salt and alfalfa for those that may want to bow hunt or just not wanting to or able to hike much.

They were hog hunting but on there way to the feed sights in the evenings they saw 2 different herds. One with one very nice ram up on a very big steep hill.

Thats a awesome price, what are the average rams your seeing, and whats some of the largest you have taken off the ranch?

No aoudad hunting has been specifically done on this ranch ever. If a deer hunter saw one and wanted to take it they would allow it on a trophy fee basis.

I have conducted 2 hunts in the past 6 weeks. 1 ewe hunt and 1 ram hunt which was my own personal hunt.

Both hunts were done in less than a day. My ram was 31.5 inches with several larger rams seen.

I dont want to hype this place up because it does not have alot of aoudad (numbers wise) but the quality of rams is high.

Mike is a stand up guy and will shoot you straight! He cares about his hunters and there success rate. I know...!
Someone is getting a great deal here! If I didn't have 2 rams already I'd be going on this one.

Some good rams have been taken the past couple months and some big ones missed.
