Anyone have a good suggestion on a comfortable pair of warm-weather hunting boots that won't break the bank? Thanks.

leather or rubber? and what is your $$ amount... that will break your bank? I have some from BPS that are around 100 bucks... got them on sale though for 89.. snake proof and zip up the side. If it gets cooler I add wool socks..

I'm looking around $100-$150 and pref leather. Don't want to spend any more on something I'm just going to tear up. Looks like I need to make a trip to Cabela's and check out some Danners.

I wear my Danner Pronghorn boots year round. Put on a pair and see what you think.

I have worn a pair of Danner upland game boots every day since i got them. Cabela's had them on sell a while back and I ordered two (one for work and one for the woods) pair. I wish I would have ordered more. They are tough as all get out and as comfortable as tennis shoes and so far 100% water proof. I also have/wear a pair of danner pronghorns, but screwed up and got the insulated pair. They are to hot unless hunting in snow. And have a pair of 15 year old danners that I got while working for an elk outfitter in northern New Mexico. As with the others they are great, but way to hot to wear much around here.

They are not hunting specific boots but I wear my Converse Stealths everyday. They are the most confortable footwear I have ever worn. Period. I think they are only available in tan/sand color. I get about 300 days at 8-10 hours a day of wear out of them on average, I'd guess. I have been wearing them since my enlistment and I refuse to wear anything else. They run between $90-110.

Like hornedfrog said, I love Danner's too, but have never found them on sale or a price low enough to make me buy another pair.

Danner all the way, Btw danner re designed the proghorn this year and the bargan cave probably has some for the price you want to spend.

I have Danners and MuckBoots. I have found that I hardly ever wear the Danners. The MuckBoots feel like a pair of tennis shoes and are very durable.
