Our lease is covered in sand burs and I need some dog boots to keep the burs out from between his toes. The guys I hunt with said the cheap cordura work better than ones with neoprene. What do you guys like? and why?

Lewis. Use athletic pre-wrap, install the boot and wrap w/ strips of duct tape. Carry an extra and some tape in your vest in case of a blowout.
Placed an add for some a few weeks ago as I was cleaning out some old stuff. No responses....unfortunately. Would have sent them to you for free.
If there are sand burrs...there will be snakes. Desnake if you have not already.

I go with cordure simply because I know it will hold up and I think it allows some air to the feet that will keep the dog a little cooler.
Would you want to run around South TX wearing rubber boots?

+2 Lewis, best I've ever used and seen. I'm not sure why but Bass Pro no longer carries them, at least the one in Garland doesnt.
Say When.....

I love my Cabelas Delux dog boot. I have never had one come off while hunting.

Haven't gotten him out hunting yet (willl be going in about 8 hours) but during training in the field they stay on fine. http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/...&hasJS=true

If there are sand burrs...there will be snakes. Desnake if you have not already. Thanks for the offer. I guess I should have posted sooner. Your taping advise sounds good. I did take my pup to snake avoidance about 2 weeks ago and he sure learned not to mess with them.
