We are going to run a limited number of hunts this year on some property just outside of Austin that is covered up in birds. It is very close to Cypress Creek Golf Course in the NW part of town. Just driving around last week I saw eight big Toms in about 45 min. All hunts will have a guide and access to the lodge and kitchen facilities.
Price. $50day
$300 Bird.

Pleas contact AB Joint Outfitters or Alex Beasley at 512 619 9815. Thank you very much..

I have two little girls; which means if GI Joe ever got to take a vacation he should come to my house...Ahhh, Estrogen Land! Where lonely barbies abound without a single man in site.

Wow $300+ a bird! That's at least a $100 a drumstick! Thanks but I'll stick with the self guided ventures...I can pay for 2-3 seasons worth of hunts for that much!

Actually that is pretty cheap considering some outfitters are getting $1000 plus for a turkey hunt. He's got a good price but if you got a good place to go turkey hunting for yourself for less than that then you are one of very few that are blessed with that option.

Please follow policy and don't make comments about a service that someone has to offer or their price.....
IF you don't like it, just move on and keep to yourself...
It looks like you don't have a whole lot of posts so you might take a look at the policy set forth by JP...

Time is not wasted if you spend it with the ones you love.

Hey Alex
I may take you up on the turkey hunt but it would be late in the season if budget approval goes through. (the wife)
I'll send a PM with dates.

How was stripper fishing?

Did u bag a bird? You must have since you still have 4 hours of hunting light left! Were they responding or not that interested in a call today?

The calling action was really slow today until about 5:00pm. The birds were active off the roust but then clamed up like FT. Knox! This afternoon they started to answer a call, but the action was not as hot as I would have expected. Anyone else running into this after that cold spell we had??

But we adapted and set up at the intersection of two roads and a couple of trails that the birds seem to travel between 10:00 and 10:30am. At exactly 10:05 a beautiful Tom walked down the road, spotted our decoy, and with just a little coaxing fanned out and strutted right in!!

Thanks again L.J. for comming out. It was a pleasure to meet you and I really hope to see you in the field again!

We tore them up!!!! I landed a fish that went 17.5lbs on 10lb line as well as many others in the 8lb range! We limited out and then did some catch and release and had a great time! Tell your wife that it is an emergancy that you come turkey hunting!!
