Wonder who he was talking about in that quote?

That is her. I didn't see her the last couple of times I was at the range, so I figured they finally banned her. She was spooky.

Not sure who you are talking about JB, but when I go to the range, I just shoot enough to get my rifle hitting where I want it, and leave.

Randall, I wasn't refering to anyone in particular....my point was to say "how can it get any wierder than a woman in Muslim garb with a high-power rifle?"

Randall, even more strange is that I think I remember you saying that she was shooting at silhouettes...although I may be mistaken.

Yes sir, you remember quite correctly. She was using 25 yard human silhouette targets on the 100 yard range. If I remember correctly, she had target dots placed on the head and heart area.

Yeah, this whole deal really pisses me off. I work out at DFW and no one has mentioned the fact we have this crazy woman running around the area, I have to read about it in the newspaper.

Trust me, if I see camo pants under a robe and she's out there pacing off steps, I'm calling for the airport tactical team, those guys don't fool around.

It's her right if she hates Amercans, but once you start dressing in battle fatigues, start pacing off distances, and brag about your sniper skills, you're on your way to conspiracy.

It's BS. The FBI needs to step in, make this a felony case, and end this sniper garbage.

Thats some scarey stuff. If y'all ever see her at the range again I am sure y'all will be looking at her in a different light now. Rather than just a wierdo a possible terrorist.

You know the strange thing to me is that she seems to be trying to draw attention to herself. I'm wondering if maybe she's not actually a diversion for a bigger fish. Really scary if you think about.

I dont think that she is a terrorist, but she dang sure does not mind playing the part.

A real terrorist would try to blend in with the crowd; not stand out in the crowd like she does.

It looks to me like she is just begging for some attention and this is the best way for her to get it. The woman clearly has some issues or maybe she is a terrorist that is just to stupid to lay low.

Just my opinion!!

JCB, this is my point exactly...let's say that there is an actual terrorist involved, only he/she's not drawing any attention because this woman is running interference. What better way to blend in or hide among your enemies, than to have someone drawing all of the attention in another direction. In my opinion, they should'nt be as worried about this woman but maybe watching what's going on around her.

Don't overlook the crazy factor. Two years ago, a college kid at OU blew himself in half outside a football game when he got depressed using homemade explosives.

About a year ago, two guys outside Texas City blew themselves up making homemade explosives in their apartment.

There's just crazy people everywhere. When they start making veiled threats, that's a problem.

Maybe tomorrow, this lady wakes up, realizes it's a Christian holiday, doesn't have any sugar for her coffee, and goes out and shoots somebody.

OK, so....

Why don't we have a shooting get together, and we all take printouts of her picture to paste to our targets?

It doesn't really matter that much anymore.

There was still a ton left in the apartment that didn't go off. So much, that they (police, federal authorities),couldn't safely move it, so they sandbagged it and blew it in place destroyed something like 4 or 5 apartments and a couple of cars in the parking lot. No ties to terrorism, just a couple of guys cooking up stuff for unknown reasons.

I had some new info about these ladies come across my desk. As a condition of Al-Homsi's probation, she is not allowed to possess a firearm. If you see her with a firearm, do not approach her, do not try to detain her. (technically she's not wanted, just probation) Call 911 or contact the Dallas FBI.

I remember this lady because where she was pulled over and where the garland bomb squad came and removed the grenade was directly next door to where I work. I pulled up just as they were putting her in handcuffs, then the bomb squad got there and pulled out the little robot.

Also right behind where I work is a all muslim school. I was talking to one of the officers and he said that apperantly she was going there to pick up one of her kids.

It always has made me uneasy having that place right behind us. We've been there almost two years now but before we moved to that location the owner and myself were laughing at the fact that on their insurance policy it has a provision to cover terroristic acts. We'll that might be a good thing now. Ya never know.

Oh I thought is was kind of funny how this was posted in the open hunting discussion, is there some kind of under lying thought there!

The reason I posted it in this section, was because when I first ran into the situation, was during a sight-in session, getting ready for a hunt.

It was intended to get everyone to start thinking about paying attention to what is going on around you when on the firing line at a busy range.

Worrying with trying to get a rifle sighted in the way you want it should be the only thing on a persons mind. Private Gun Ranges are businesses, and have the right to refuse service to anyone, this woman had been out there several times from the reports that appeared in this thread. The management at Alpine was aware of the sitution and I feel, should have done something after the first complaints were made.

Don't know whether you have ever used the facility, but I have, and unless things have changed, there are times when there is not a range officer on duty. Maybe it is a little paranoia on my part, but sometimes a little paranoia goes a long way in making people start looking at the way they do some things, especially in situations where they are operating in a place with several people that they don't know present, and in possesion of firearms. JMO.

my guess is as good as yours but i bet the alphabet soup would be monitoring her calls and where abouts if there was a hint of her being a terrorists. i bet if she hasnt shown up at the gun range in a while she and her friends will probably be in europe or cuba for an in your face talk with the doctor.

then again she could be a wacko that needs an accidental shooting.
