Not trying to take needed work away from anyone...but you can get it cleaned yourself...

Since you are in NE Tx i know you have fire ants nearby smile Just take the tortoise and put it into a wire cage and place on a fire ant mound. Tie the cage off to a tree and pull it out of the mound in a few weeks. Hose it off, and let it dry.

Some ppl don't wanna mess with it, and that is fine...just giving you another option wink

My brother lives in Ennis and has a large colony of them. Does a good number of skulls for taxidermist. I can give you his info if it might help?
