I never can find one I like. Does anyone have a fanny pack that they recommend for dove hunting? I don't like vest, just looking for a waist pack that stores birds, shells, and empty hulls.
Thanks.

I use several different brands of the type that go around your waist with the shell bags on the hips and the bird bag on the butt.
I have some from Cabelas, Academy and Sports Authority.

Call it a dove belt or anything but fanny pack.

It is not a fanny pack. that's what you might wear during the offseason while hiking/scouting for new spots. Call my dove bag a fanny pack and you're likely to have a dead bird or empty shells hurled at you.

I got something similar to what gr_elliott posted by WALLS Anything like that, that fits and has blood proof lining is what I would look for. I tried using a Cabelas HalfVest on one outing and had bleed through (wasn't lined).

I just bought a Beretta Waxed cotton game pouch. Alittle pricey but looks nice
the thing about baiting is, even a rookie hunter could have a 170 bird season if they bait holes

You should get one like Garrett's girlfriend has on in this pic. Also if you are looking for a girlfriend of your own you are in luck because she has two sisters.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

I used a belt with bags for years and got tired of pulling my pants up so I went to something like this 6 years ago and never looked back. Let your sholders support the weight not your gluteusmaximus. http://txfowlers.com/SMALL_GAME_DOVE_VEST.asp

Academy has some dove belts that are only like 4.99 with two shell pouches and a bird pouch. I got one a few years back and like it alot it will hold more than enough!
