First of all, I know long range forecasting doesn't hold much water, but consider this wishful thinking.

Accuweather says Monday Aug. 30th the high is 93, Tuesday the high is 85...I don't know about y'all, but an opening day in the mid 80s would be verrry nice.

My forecast for opening day is lots of beer bait and ammo and a limit of dove birds. Then again, dove is a lot like beer for me. I don't know my limit. oops.

Don't worry, if it's too wet and our doves leave before Sep. 1st, we'll get replacements from Oklahoma and Kansas!!!

Accu-weather should be re-named InAccurate. There forecasts rarely pan out.

Don't worry. Opening day will be hot and dry.

X 10000000000

No chance we are going to get a break from this heat until November, maybe even have a little warm weather for opening day in November.
